Except on holiday courses (where instruction is included in the course fee), instruction is free to all club members, and those under 21 benefit from half price flying charges and discounted membership rates.
Non-Flying membership is normally reserved for former Full Flying members, and confers members’ voting rights but not the right to fly club aircraft
Social membership is offered at the discretion of the committee to people wanting to use the club’s facilities but not to fly club aircraft. The number of social members is capped at 10% of the total club membership.

Bungey launching. We are one of the
few clubs left in Europe that still bungee launches
is a wind above 20kts from the west. We have just purchased
a new bungee rope so if you have never tried this most
elegant form of launching come on an expedition and
get signed off. You might even catch our wave and see
Wales from 20,000 feet!
We take Cross Country flying fairly seriously -
after all we start at 3000 ft above sea level off a
launch! But we do encourage all our members, especially
our Juniors, to take part in local, regional and national
competitions. Several flights over 650km have beencompleted
from the Mynd.
